Private Equity Principal – Healthcare, NYC
We are mandated by a leading Private Equity firm who specialise in the healthcare buyout space. Our client is looking to grow its healthcare investment team with the addition of a Principal, to be based in their New York Office.
As a Principal, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in private equity transactions, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and a proven track record of successful deal execution.
Candidates must be US-based, and have a healthcare investment background, robust technical skills, excellent business judgement, the ability to lead for the long term, global outlook, and a deep passion for healthcare.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in private equity, with a focus on healthcare buyouts.
Strong academic background, preferably with an MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
Proven track record of successfully leading and closing healthcare transactions.
Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills.
Excellent negotiation and deal structuring capabilities.
Deep industry knowledge and understanding of healthcare market dynamics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
