An elite geopolitical advisory firm is looking for a dynamic and strategic Director to join its New York office. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering insight-led consulting to major multinational clients navigating global risk and political change.

The Director will serve as the lead on client engagements — managing delivery, shaping bespoke analysis, and owning key relationships. This role is ideal for a commercially minded strategist with deep geopolitical awareness and hands-on experience managing advisory projects from end to end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute client engagements, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery across written reports, briefings, and strategic sessions

• Translate complex global developments into clear, tailored advice for corporate and investor clients

• Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, maintaining and growing client relationships

• Manage internal project teams, providing direction, oversight, and mentorship

• Collaborate on the development of new service offerings and support select business development initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 8 years of experience in consulting, strategic advisory, or a related field with direct client-facing responsibility

• Proven ability to lead multi-faceted projects and deliver actionable insights to executive-level audiences

• Strong knowledge of global affairs and the ability to apply this to commercial and strategic contexts

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and confidence presenting to senior clients

• Master’s degree in international relations, economics, public policy, or a closely related discipline
