Data Engineer – Technology – London

A London-based technology team is hiring a Data Engineer to support the development and maintenance of data infrastructure and workflows. The position reports directly to the Engineering Manager and works closely with the Chief Technology Officer on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure

  • Design and manage ETL processes for internal and external data sources

  • Work with large datasets using Python and Pandas

  • Ensure data reliability, integrity, and performance

  • Support data integration with cloud infrastructure (AWS)

Requirements:

  • 1–4 years of experience in a data engineering or similar role

  • Strong proficiency in Python, including Pandas

  • Experience with SQL and data modelling

  • Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue)

  • Understanding of data architecture and workflow orchestration tools

Preferred:

  • Italian language skills

  • Experience in financial services or fintech
