Project Manager – Private Equity Fundraising, London
Octavius Finance, a specialist search firm focused on private markets, investment banking and alternative investments, is partnering with a leading private placement agent to appoint a project manager to join its London-based team.
This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of one of the most respected firms in the private equity fundraising market. Working alongside experienced capital raising professionals, you will play a key role in delivering fundraising mandates for leading European mid-market private equity fund managers.
As a central member of the fundraising team, you will oversee the coordination and delivery of complex fundraising processes from initial launch through to final close. Acting as the primary point of contact between clients, investors and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure projects run smoothly while gaining exposure to some of the world's leading GPs and institutional investors.
The position also offers the opportunity to support international fundraising campaigns and investor roadshows, with regular travel across Europe and internationally to attend client meetings, investor presentations and fundraising events.
Key Responsibilities
Manage private equity fundraising mandates from launch through to successful completion.
Coordinate the production and ongoing management of fundraising materials, including Pitch Books, Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and investor presentations.
Drive project plans and timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Organise GP management presentations, investor meetings and international fundraising roadshows.
Maintain investor target lists and oversee the distribution of fundraising documentation throughout the fundraising lifecycle.
Work closely with private equity fund managers, institutional investors and internal teams to ensure seamless execution across multiple workstreams.
Carry out market research and contribute to broader strategic fundraising initiatives.
Ensure fundraising documentation remains current, accurate and aligned with market developments.
Requirements
The successful candidate will typically have 5–7 years' experience within a professional services, advisory or financial services environment, with a background in areas such as:
Transaction Services (Big 4 or similar)
M&A / M&A Advisory
Investor Relations
Private Placement Agencies
Applications are also welcomed from individuals with outstanding project management and stakeholder management experience gained outside financial services, including former Armed Forces personnel looking to transition into private markets.
Salary: £65,000
