Senior Product Specialist – Multi-Asset (Frankfurt, Germany)

Octavius Finance is exclusively partnering with a leading global asset manager seeking to appoint a Senior Product Specialist to support its growing multi-asset business.

This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of investing, client engagement and business development. Working closely with Portfolio Managers and senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will play a key role in communicating the firm's multi-asset investment capabilities, portfolio positioning and market views to institutional investors across Europe.

The role offers broad exposure across investor engagement, product strategy, fundraising support and business development, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced investment professional looking to remain closely connected to the investment process while operating in a senior client-facing capacity.

The firm has an established institutional client base across both Germany and the UK, with flexibility to hire in either Frankfurt (preferred) or London to access the strongest talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key representative of the multi-asset investment business, communicating investment philosophy, portfolio positioning and market views to institutional investors.

• Develop a deep understanding of the firm's multi-asset investment process and portfolio construction framework.

• Partner closely with Portfolio Managers to translate complex investment ideas into clear and compelling client messaging.

• Produce high-quality investor presentations, market commentary, product updates and thought leadership material.

• Support fundraising, consultant relations, client servicing and investor retention initiatives.

• Participate in client meetings, due diligence sessions, conferences and industry events.

• Work collaboratively across investment, distribution and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and positioning.

• Provide informed perspectives on financial markets, asset allocation and macroeconomic developments relevant to the firm's investment strategies.

Requirements

• Approximately 5-10 years' experience within asset management, investment management or hedge funds.

• Previous experience as an Investment Specialist, Product Specialist, Product Strategist, Client Portfolio Manager or similar client-facing investment role.

• Strong understanding of multi-asset investing, asset allocation and institutional investment products.

• Experience working with institutional investors, consultants, pension schemes, insurers or other professional investment clients.

• Ability to discuss portfolio positioning, investment philosophy and market developments with credibility and confidence.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted relationships across both investment and distribution teams.

• German language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.

Backgrounds of Interest

Relevant backgrounds may include Senior Product Specialist, Investment Specialist, Product Strategist, Client Portfolio Manager, Investment Strategist, Institutional Sales or Investor Relations professionals with experience supporting multi-asset investment strategies.
