Octavius Finance, a search firm specialised in Macro market and economic recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading emerging markets macro team in London. The team are seeking a talented Economist with a focus on CEEMEA markets. This role is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are eager to apply their expertise to real-world markets.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth macroeconomic research and analysis with a focus on CEEMEA markets.
Monitor economic indicators, policy developments, and geopolitical events to provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with buy side clients to inform market movements.
Prepare and deliver high-quality research reports and presentations on economic trends in the region.
Requirements
PhD or MSc in Economics or a related field.
Strong knowledge of CEEMEA economies, with expertise in macroeconomics and sovereign debt.
Experience in a sell side bank, hedge fund, or similar environment is highly desirable.
Some experience working/living in the CEEMEA region preferred but not mandatory.
