We are working with a leading buy side firm who is looking for a senior emerging market corporate credit researcher to join their Emerging Markets Fixed Income Team based in New York to primarily focus on LatAm Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and continuously monitor the credit quality of a portfolio comprising Emerging Market corporate, financial, and quasi-sovereign issuers.

  • Conduct independent, fundamental credit analysis and develop historical and forward-looking financial models to identify key credit trends.

  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity by analyzing new sectors and contributing relative value investment ideas across mandates.

  • Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, traders, and fellow analysts to deliver comprehensive research and actionable trade recommendations.

  • Conduct ongoing ESG assessments of portfolio companies and actively engage with management teams on material ESG issues.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years’ experience

  • Experience covering LatAm Region

  • Experience covering issuers across the credit rating spectrum, including distressed credit
