Senior Economist - London

We are working with a leading economic consultancy firm dedicated to solving some of today’s most pressing societal challenges. They are looking to onboard a Senior Economist, to take on a key leadership role driving high-impact projects, mentoring junior economists, and helping shape the future direction of the firm.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from design through to delivery, applying robust economic analysis across a range of policy areas.

• Manage small teams of 1–3 economists, providing guidance, support, and professional development.

• Design and implement tailored methodologies, using economic theory and data-driven approaches to meet client needs.

• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including regular engagement with the Managing Director.

• Work directly with clients and external partners, contributing to high-profile, impactful initiatives.

• Engage with internal functions—Tech, Commercial, and Communications—broadening your exposure to diverse professional disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver end-to-end project work.

• Ensure outputs meet high quality standards and client expectations.

• Develop innovative analytical approaches tailored to project needs.

• Support senior leadership in business development and resource planning.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Requirements:

·  A university degree in Economics, Econometrics, or a related field (postgraduate qualifications are a plus but not essential).

·  Fluency in written and spoken English.
