ESG Stewardship Analyst- London- Asset Manager

We are working with a leading asset manager based in London, committed to integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into their investment strategies. They are seeking a talented and motivated ESG Stewardship Analyst to join their central ESG team. This role will support their ESG funds with stewardship, engagement, proxy voting, and reporting, while also assisting in ESG integration for their non-ESG funds.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of stewardship and engagement strategies for our ESG funds, working closely with portfolio managers and other stakeholders.

• Conduct research and analysis on ESG issues and corporate practices to inform engagement priorities and proxy voting decisions.

• Collaborate with external partners and industry groups to enhance our stewardship capabilities and influence positive change within portfolio companies.

• Support the integration of ESG factors into investment processes for our non-ESG funds, providing expertise and guidance to investment teams.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate governance, or related fields, preferably within a Big 4 firm or asset management background.

• Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and best practices, with a passion for responsible investment.

• Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex ESG data and issues.

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
