Private Equity Associate (Healthcare) – New York
Our client is a leading Private Equity investor in the middle-market healthcare vertical. The group have a proven track record in partnering with innovative firms to drive growth and create lasting value, with over 20 years and assets under management in excess of $5bn.
The group invest across the healthcare sector, with substantive portfolio holdings in the biopharma, devices, MedTech and healthcare services subsectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investment opportunities within the healthcare sector, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive assessments.
Monitor and support portfolio companies, assisting with strategic planning, operational improvements, and performance analysis.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investment returns, capital structures, and strategic growth initiatives.
Requirements:
Between 2-4 years Investment Banking experience, with strong execution experience across healthcare subsectors.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques specific to the healthcare industry.
Deep passion for the healthcare sector and a desire to make a positive impact on patient care and outcomes.
You must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States.
